FAQ Regency Golf Urban Hotel

Regency Golf is located at 2473 Solano García St. on the corner of José Ellauri St., 100 meters from Punta Carretas Shopping, 4 blocks from the promenade and 3 blocks from the Golf Club.

If you wish to practice sports at the Golf Club, we can provide you with alternatives, as well as other sports facilities in the area.

Check-in time starts at 14:00 hs. Check-out time is until 11:00 a.m. the following day. These are the usual times, which may be subject to change in the occasion of a guest with a special dayuse stay. In this case it will depend on the amount of hours reserved.

If you have made a reservation with a rate that includes the possibility of check in and/or extended check out for free, you must request it at the time of your arrival at the hotel and it will be subject to availability. In case you require an early check in, we recommend you to communicate it prior to arrival, although it will be subject to availability, we will be able to assign the room giving priority to your request. In case your rate does not include this possibility and you wish to check in or check out outside the regular hours, you may hire it with an additional charge subject to reservation and availability.

If you must wait a few additional hours before leaving the hotel, you may continue to use the facilities by contacting the front desk, where your luggage will be kept in custody. If you wish an extended use of the hotel amenities you can request a dayuse service for an additional charge.

Regency Golf Hotel Urbano accepts credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as bank transfers. In case of need you should request the account number for the transfer by e-mail reservas@regency.com.uy

To make the reservation you must provide a credit card as a guarantee, which will not be charged if it is a rate with a free cancellation policy up to 24 hours prior to the check-in date. This will depend on the type of rate. If it is a non-refundable rate, payment must be made at the time of booking.

When it is a non-refundable rate, no changes or cancellations can be made. In cancellation policy enabled (flexible), if you cancel less than 48 hrs prior to arrival date or no-show, the Hotel will charge the amount corresponding to one (1) night of accommodation in the type of room reserved.
For stays longer than 20 days, if you cancel less than 5 days prior to the arrival date or no-show, the Hotel will charge the amount corresponding to two (2) nights of accommodation in the type of room reserved.

From November 15th until Easter, guests with Uruguayan identity card and/or passport must pay 10% VAT.

If you have dietary restrictions due to health issues, please contact the hotel so that your specific requirements can be taken into account and your breakfast will have the appropriate options.

The crib has no additional cost and it is possible to add it. Accommodation for 1 child is free of charge up to 12 years old in Deluxe double. In Executive Room up to 5 years old sharing furniture (double bed or 2 separate beds).

The hotel is Pet Friendly. Pets are allowed with an additional charge, but are not allowed in the restaurant and fitness area and must always remain under the responsibility of their owner.

No, some rooms have a bathtub.

Most of the rooms have a bathtub, however we recommend that if you require a room with a bathtub, please indicate this at the time of booking.

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, but it does have an interior garden surrounded by greenery where you can take a break.

Yes, the hotel has a fitness area with a few pieces of gym equipment, as well as a sauna.

Regency Golf has a parking lot with 8 parking spaces, with aditional charge and subject to availability, which is accessed by a freight elevator. For those larger vehicles that are not left in the parking lot, the hotel has an agreement with the service station located 100 meters away, where vehicles can be parked overnight.

We recommend walks through the beautiful residential neighborhood, including the promenade to Rodó Park, its quarries and lake, contemplating the green surroundings of the Golf Club; gastronomic and shopping outings, enjoying a delicious lunch or dinner and a full tea at the Urban Restaurant, relaxing with the use of the sauna subject to availability.

The hotel will facilitate the coordination of rentals with local suppliers.
